Ring in 2016 at the Hamptons Best New Year’s Eve Parties

Get out your best suit or party dress to ring in the New Year in style. From Montauk to Riverhead, and in nearby Patchogue too, catch a performance or attend a New Year’s Eve party and dance the night away as the calendar flips to 2016.

Southampton Inn has a fun evening planned with overnight accommodations—though for $150 guests can choose to attend the party without booking a room. An overnight package, for $450 per couple or $300 for a single guest, includes the Southampton Historical Museum Rogers Mansion Candlelit Tour from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. and a cocktail hour with open bar at Café OSO from 7 to 8 p.m. The party is from 8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. with a four-course dinner, open bar, dancing and a midnight champagne toast. Overnight guests can enjoy a continental and hot breakfast on New Year’s Day from 9 a.m. to noon. The cost for children 12 and under is $125. For children 13 and older, the price is $175. Stephen Talkhouse will have a performance by the G.E. Smith Band, a blues trio featuring former Saturday Night  Live Band leader G.E. Smith, Fred Cash Jr. and Abe Fogle, at 8 p.m. Admission is $30. Southampton Social Club in Southampton Village is once again planning a New Year’s Eve Bash. Watch the ball drop and enjoy music and dancing. The Silver Package ($95 including tax and gratuity) includes a four-hour top-shelf open bar from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. with hors d’oeuvres, midnight champagne toast and party favors. The Gold Package ($150) includes everything in Silver, plus a four-course dinner by chef Scott Kampf with wine and cocktails. Suffolk Theater hosts a New Year’s Eve Laugh, Dine and Dance Bash with performances by comedians Eric Haft, Rich Walker and Carie Karavas followed by a DJ and dancing. A champagne toast will take place at midnight. Admission is $45. A prix fixe dinner will be available for purchase. Long Island Aquarium & Exhibition Center will present its Fishes & Wishes family-friendly New Year’s Eve Party between 6:30 and 11 p.m. Guests will enjoy a cocktail hour, buffet dinner (includes beer and wine), dancing, crafts for the kids, dessert and ice cream bar, plus a mock-Midnight champagne and sparkling cider toast (at 10:30), and of course the beauty of the aquarium at night. Patchogue Theatre hosts two performances on December 31 of A Rat Pack New Year with special guest Marilyn Monroe. The show recreates the Summit at the Sands nights with The Rat Pack Is Back from Las Vegas, featuring Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr. and Dean Martin impersonators.
