Easily-loved, stylish designs can be bought at reasonable prices and a variety of accessories can give an added boost to any child’s outfit.

Hildreth’s (51 Main Street, Southampton; 631-283-2300, hildreths.com) is American’s oldest department store. One of those departments is children’s clothing. Pick up a new outfit for your kid—and anything else you need—at this Main Street, U.S.A., store that won gold.

Silver for the South Fork, Baby Shock/Shock Kids (99 Main Street, Westhampton Beach; 631-288-2522) are masters of trendy tween clothing and baby apparel.
