Stand-Up Comics Chris Clarke, Dante Nero Perform at Bay Street February 12
Joseph Vecsey returns to Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor on Friday, February 12, to once again host the All Star Comedy Show, a night of stand-up with up-and-coming comedians.
The featured performers will be Dante Nero, who’s had a recurring role on NBC’s The Blacklist and has appeared in Colin Quinn‘s Cop Show, and Chris Clarke, who’s been seen on BET Comic View.
Vecsey has emceed All Star Comedy at Bay Street for three years. He can be seen in Optimum’s The Unmovers television commercials and web series, and he hosts a podcast, The Callback, in which he interviews fellow comics. He also makes comedy sketches for his YouTube channel—including Broke Comedians in Transportation Getting Water, a parody of Jerry Seinfeld’s Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee—and MTV2’s popular show Uncommon Sense. In 2015, Vecsey was an on-set writer for Happy Madison’s upcoming movie The Do Over starring Adam Sandler and David Spade.
Nero, born and bred in Brooklyn, has worked with Tracy Morgan and Mike Epps, among other successful comedians. He co-hosted The Black Phillip Show with Patrice O’Neal, a relationship advice show on Sirius XM Radio. He’s appeared on The Opie & Anthony Channel, Hot 97, and Chappelle’s Show. In addition to The Blacklist, his television credits include Z Rock on IFC, Damages on FX, and Fringe on Fox.
Clarke appeared on BET’s 106 & Park, at the Las Vegas Comedy Festival and was the runner-up in New England’s Funniest Comic Competition. He’s appeared in numerous independent films and sketches in addition to performing at Gotham Comedy Club, Caroline’s, The Comic Strip, and clubs all over the Northeast. He’s also been a comedic food critic as a member of Teamdaym, which has amassed more than 30 million webviews with their original weekly food reviews on YouTube.
