Hamptons resident rock icon Jon Bon Jovi turns 54 today, March 2, 2016.

The musician had a good year since his last birthday. In September and Octoberis band’s Bon Jovi Live tour took him to some amazing international locations, including Jakarta, Indonesia; Shanghai and Macao, China; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Singapore; Seoul, South Korea; Taipei, Taiwan; Yas Island in Abu Dhabi; and Tel Aviv, Israel. Now this month, he’s is headed to Nashville for intimate An Evening with Jon Bon Jovi shows, including photo ops and more, from March 18–20 for a small, exclusive group of fans via his Runaway Tours. Find out more at runawaytours.com.

Bon Jovi sold his 7,452-square-foot NYC penthouse at 158 Mercer Street last spring for $34 million. Then, in December, he closed on a $12.87 million, 4-bedroom, 4.5-bath condo on Charles Street in the West Village through Douglas Elliman.

To celebrate his son’s birthday, Bon Jovi’s father, John Bongiovi, Sr., is having a buy-one-get-one-free sale on his famous Bongiovi brand pasta sauce through this Sunday, March 6. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Bongiovi’s sauce goes to the birthday boy’s charity, the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation, created to “provide safe and affordable housing options in the communities in which they work.” As Bon Jovi’s dad says, “We are committed to rebuilding pride in one’s self and one’s community.”

Meanwhile, Bon Jovi’s online merchandise shop has some new items and is offering a special 20% discount to celebrate the rocker’s 54th. Visit store.BonJovi.com and use the code JBJBDAY before midnight tonight for the discount.

For those who don’t know, Bon Jovi was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey on March 2, 1962. His father was a Marine and barber, and his mother, Carol Sharkey, was Marine, a Playboy Bunny and then a florist.

Happy birthday, Jon!
