Literary Death Match
When: July 7, 8 p.m.
Where: Guild Hall, 158 Main Street, East Hampton
What: Four dueling authors, both established and emerging, will perform their most brilliant work before a live audience and a panel of three all-star judges. After the readings, the judges take turns giving commentary. Two authors will advance to the finals, for an absurdly comical climax to decide who takes home the crown.

“Intimate Apparel”

Where: Bay Street Theater and Sag Harbor Center for the Arts, 1 Bay Street, Sag Harbor
What: Set in 1905, this romantic drama tells the story of a seamstress who makes beautiful undergarments for discerning clients. When she begins receiving love letters from a man working on the Panama Canal, she faces the possibility of romance, but also finds herself falling for a fabric salesman she works with.
