Permits Available At More Southampton Town Beaches

By Desirée Keegan
2 minute 06/04/2020 Share
Ponquogue Beach in Hampton Bays.

Beginning Saturday, June 6, beach permits will be available for purchase on weekends at more Town of Southampton beaches. Residents and renters can now pick them up at Ponquogue and Tiana Beaches in Hampton Bays, Pikes Beach in Westhampton, Sagg Main in Sagaponack, Flying Point Beach in Water Mill, and Foster Memorial Beach, also known as Long Beach, in Sag Harbor.

The permits had previously only been available at Ponquogue, Sagg Main and Long Beach. Permits are required at all beaches and access roads, as of May 23.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and capacity limitations, daily beach passes will not be sold until further notice. These beach permits are only available for residents and renters, who must show proof.

Existing 2019 beach permits are valid through June 30.

Parking permits are currently required at Southampton Town beaches and access roads seven days a week from 9 AM to 9 PM. Permits are also available through mail-in applications, which can be downloaded from the town’s website. Allow two to three weeks for processing due to high volume.
