Memorial Day Observances in the Hamptons Sunday and Monday
The villages and hamlets of the Hamptons from the west end to Montauk pay respects to fallen servicemen and women this Memorial Day weekend.
Montauk
Sunday, May 25, noon–2 p.m.
The march will start at Kirk Park and move east through town, ending on the Village Green.
East Quogue
Sunday, May 25, 1 p.m.
The East Quogue Fire Department parade will start from Walker Avenue, head east on Main Street to the firehouse, where there will be a brief ceremony.
Bridgehampton
Monday, May 26, 9 a.m.
In the heart of Bridgehampton, at the war monument at the intersection of Montauk Highway and Ocean Road, the Bridgehampton Fire Department and veterans organizations will host a Memorial Day ceremony.
Sag Harbor
Monday, May 26, 8:30 a.m.
The Village of Sag Harbor’s Memorial Day parade steps off at approximately 8:30 a.m. from the World War II monument across from Mashashimuet Park and continue down Main Street to Marine Park on Bay Street.
Hampton Bays
Monday, May 26, 10 a.m.
The Memorial Day observance begins at American Legion Hall Aldrich Post #924 at 55 Ponquogue Avenue, followed by a parade to Good Ground Cemetery.
East Hampton
Monday, May 26, 10 a.m.
Everit Albert Herter Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 550 holds its annual Memorial Day parade on Main Street in East Hampton Village.
Southampton
Monday, May 26, 10:45 a.m.
Brief parade begins at First Presbyterian Church, 2 South Main St, down Jobs Lane to Agawam Park at Pond Lane for service at 11 a.m. with guest speaker Chris Cuomo of CNN.
Westhampton
Monday, May 26, 11 a.m.
Annual ceremony at Westhampton Cemetery, entrance on Station Road.
