Women and Workplace Harassment: A Turning Point?

August 2, 2018, 5:30 pm6 pm.

Maureen Sherry worked for twelve years on Wall Street and became the youngest Managing Director at Bear Stearns before leaving to pursue writing. She was recently hired by Warner Brothers to adapt her acclaimed novel Opening Belle into a movie starring Reese Witherspoon. She will talk about whether the exposure of sexual predators in the media and Hollywood may have provided the tipping point that victims of sexual harassment in corporate America have been waiting for. She will share her findings, tell some stories and offer hope for the next generation of women in the workplace. Register at www.myrml.org or call (631) 283-0774 x 523.
